Howard A. Wurman, Esq., is a Long Island native, and graduate of Touro University School of Law in 1996, having earned his Juris Doctorate in Law. Before attending law school, Mr. Wurman received a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Public Law, as well as Masters Degree in Community Service Administration from Alfred University. Additionally, Mr. Wurman has developed a wide background of experience in Criminal, Bankruptcy and Collections Law as well as divorce and other family law related matters. Howard Wurman is part of a team of dedicated, compassionate individuals who are committed to protecting the rights of individuals whohave found themselves in difficult circumstances.

Howard A. Wurman is licensed to practice law in the State of New York. Mr. Wurman is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association where he is a member of the modest means panel serving clients in the areas of matrimonial law and bankruptcy filings.

In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Wurman donates his time to local charities, and is an active tutor in a local youth association. Mr. Wurman has been an active volunteer for the Patchogue Youth and Community Services Center for several years, where he volunteers and helps with the organization of golf outings and other fund raising activities.

Robert E. Hornberger

Robert E. Hornberger, is a Long Island native, and graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, having earned his Juris Doctorate in Law. Before attending law school, Mr. Hornberger received a double Bachelors Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Law (PPL) as well as History from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Mr. Hornberger has also developed a wide background of experience in divorce, divorce mediation and family law related matters.

Robert E. Hornberger, is licensed to practice law in the State of New York. Mr. Hornberger is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association where is a member of the committee for alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Hornberger is also a director of the Collaborative Law Association of New York, Inc., a not-for-profit organization committed to promoting collaborative dispute resolution as a method for helping couples separate or divorce with greater respect, less cost, increased privacy and skilled legal representation, without going to court.

Mr. Hornberger is committed to excelling the growth of mediation as a cost effective alternative to expensive and time consuming litigation to resolve divorce and family related matters. Mr. Hornberger believes that families, and most importantly, children, benefit from the mediation process.
