Robert E. Hornberger
Robert E. Hornberger, is a Long Island native, and graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, having earned his Juris Doctorate in Law. Before attending law school, Mr. Hornberger received a double Bachelors Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Law (PPL) as well as History from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Mr. Hornberger has also developed a wide background of experience in divorce, divorce mediation and family law related matters.
Robert E. Hornberger, is licensed to practice law in the State of New York. Mr. Hornberger is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association where is a member of the committee for alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Hornberger attends a monthly Round Table Meeting of other Long Island based attorneys dedicated to the practice of divorce mediation and alternative dispute resolution.
In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Hornberger donates his time to local charities and other service oriented associations. Outside of his professional life, Mr. Hornberger enjoys spending time with his family and participating in sporting activities.
Mr. Hornberger is committed to excelling the growth of mediation as a cost effective alternative to expensive and time consuming litigation to resolve divorce and family related matters. Mr. Hornberger believes that families, and most importantly, children, benefit from the mediation process. When necessary, Mr. Hornberger has also successfully resolved matters by taking them to trial.
